Iain Finlay's latest novel - ÌMPIREACHD (EMPIRE) - will be launched at this year's Edinburgh Book Festival.
Iain Finlay has had three novels published previously, all in the Gaelic language.
He is currently working on a fifth (Science fiction) novel. The working title is "Easter Island."

CHOPPER - A short novel for young people about a war journalist.
THE KLONDYKERS - A novel set in Ulapool at the time of the Cold War. A love story about a Russian girl on one of the Russian boats and a local man. Read the opening chapter in English, in the "My Blog" section.
THE BOUNTY - A novel based on the story of James Morrison, the first man from the Western Isles to join the Royal Navy. He was on the ship HMS Bounty at the time of the Mutiny.
ÌMPIREACHD/EMPIRE - This fourth novel will be launched at the Edinburgh Book Festival in August 2010.
